The Lewis Group have adapted a scalable, flexible suite of printer nozzle modules that can be mixed-and-matched to produce custom-built nozzles that are optimized for specific manufacturing goals. These nozzles are mounted to a translating x-y-z 3D printer to rapidly produce complex structures. Applications include large-scale printed biology and printed photonic structures.
