Our Team

Sydney works with the Business Development team in OTD to evaluate, commercialize, and facilitate sponsored research opportunities for physical science and engineering technologies developed at Harvard. Prior to joining Harvard, Sydney was the Chief Scientific Officer of a non-profit think tank, Material Innovation Initiative, focused on accelerating the sustainable materials industry.  Previously, she was a consultant at Exponent, providing professional engineering services in the fields of polymer science and materials chemistry. Sydney holds a PhD in Engineering Sciences from Harvard University and a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida.
