Our Team

Jordan oversees a team of legal and administrative professionals who work closely with OTD’s Business Development team to structure and negotiate license agreements, industry-sponsored research and collaboration agreements, inter-institutional agreements and related agreements. His team is also responsible for the material transfer agreements to and from Harvard, and all confidential disclosure agreements with companies. Jordan provides advice and guidance to OTD on legal, contractual and compliance issues and works with Harvard’s offices of sponsored research and submitting offices on licensing and intellectual property terms in research agreements. Prior to joining Harvard, Jordan was Senior Counsel at Klavens Law Group PC, where he focused his corporate practice on clean technology companies and renewable energy project development. Prior to that, he worked for seven years in the Business Group of the Boston-based law firm Goulston & Storrs PC, representing early stage technology companies, academic medical centers, health care institutions, and real estate developers. Jordan also worked for about three years in the Project Finance Group of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP in New York. He holds a JD from New York University School of Law and a BA from Columbia College.
