Our Team

Charles leverages experience across business, law, and science to advance life sciences technologies developed at Harvard toward commercialization. His work spans opportunity assessment, industry collaborations and sponsored research, and licensing to industry partners and startups. Prior to joining Harvard, Charles was a Staff Scientist at Choate, Hall & Stewart, where he advised biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies on intellectual property strategy, including patent prosecution and diligence supporting financing and licensing transactions. Charles holds a PhD in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA in Biochemistry from New York University.
