Protect Your IP
The first critical step to commercializing an invention is to report it to us in advance of any public disclosure. Our team will respond within 2 business days and work to ensure the intellectual property (IP) is protected and managed according to Harvard's IP Policy.

Funding & Support
To enhance early-stage research, OTD established three accelerator programs and facilitates corporate collaborations through industry sponsorship and university-wide strategic research alliances. Accelerator support and scientific collaborations with industry partners can promote intellectual exchange, advance your project toward commercialization opportunities, and attract financial support for your lab.
Licensing & Startup Formation
OTD works to make licensing your innovation as straightforward as possible, while supporting inventors throughout the process. Licensing Harvard innovations can range from our ExpressPath licenses to custom tailor-made licenses.
