Senior Associate Director of Intellectual Property, Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering

Jay manages the patent portfolio of the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard. Jay works closely with the Wyss investigators and business teams to develop strategic patent estates around emerging technologies. Prior to joining Harvard, Jay was a partner in the Boston office of K&L Gates LLP, where his practice focused on patent portfolio development, IP transactions, and patent litigation. Jay holds a JD from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (formerly Franklin Pierce Law Center), a MS in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a BS in Biology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
