Join us for a unique opportunity to hear from Nare Janvelyan, PhD, a Harvard alum who transitioned from a PhD student to an Investor at Voyager Ventures, a leading Bay Area venture capital firm focused on climate tech. She'll be sitting down with Sonia Murthy, SEAS G3 CS PhD student who is also venture-curious and eager to learn more about this career path. Lunch provided.

Sonia Murthy - Sonia Murthy is a PhD candidate at Harvard studying computer science. Her research interests include understanding how humans think and feel in order to build better AI. She is supported by a NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and is part of the inaugural cohort of Kempner Institute Graduate Fellows at Harvard.

Nare Janvelyn, PhD - Nare is a Harvard alum with a PhD in Chemical Physics and has worked in consulting for several years helping bring products to market. She now focuses on investing in new climate technologies at a SF Bay area fund called Voyager Ventures. Voyager invests in early-stage climate companies across sub-verticals of climate (batteries, chemicals, industrials, materials, transportation, energy, ag-tech, etc.) building foundational products for a decarbonized global economy.
