Harvard Grid's Techno-economic Analysis Workshop

October 1st, 2024 ~ 04:00pm - 06:00pm

The Node (SEC 2.203), Science and Engineering Complex, 150 Western Ave, Boston, MA 02134, USA

Proffesor Jim Matheson will guide a discussion featuring the HBS Case on DMC Biotechnologies, including an analysis of their TEA to drive production strategy. With guidance and strategies from Professor Matheson, you'll gain a thorough understanding of TEAs and how a good one elucidates the economic potential of new technologies aimed at tackling climate or impact challenges and communicates your ideas clearly and quantitatively to other stakeholders. This session will provide the tools and knowledge to evaluate the technical merits, economic viability, and market potential of any market venture.

The DMC case, the DMC TEA, and a note from Activate on TEAs for tough tech ventures will be sent to registrants a week prior to the session. By registering, you gleefully agree to review the pre-reads and come to the all day session with your ideas, questions, and curiosity, ready to roll your sleeves up.
