Our Team

Sam leads OTD efforts to develop strategic research collaborations in engineering and the physical sciences while also helping commercialize technologies in robotics, computer science, medical devices, and a range of other areas. He also manages two translational funds to advance research projects toward startup formation: the Harvard Grid Accelerator Fund and the Climate and Sustainability Translational Fund. Prior to Harvard, Sam served in a variety of business-facing roles at two venture capital-backed startups and was Vice President of Corporate Marketing at Dialogic Corporation, which was later acquired by Intel. He was also a management consultant at Booz, Allen & Hamilton, advising clients in the software, semiconductor, and electronics sectors. Sam holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BS in electrical engineering from Syracuse University.
