Chief Data Science Officer and Global Head of Janssen R&D Strategy and Operations
As Chief Data Science Officer at Janssen Research & Development, Najat is responsible for identifying and executing high-impact initiatives across Discovery and Development, including by curating external partnerships that enrich data availability and enable rapid deployment and scale. These data science efforts span Janssen’s portfolio, including a key role in COVID-19 vaccine development. Najat also serves as Global Head of Janssen R&D Strategy & Operations and co-leads the cross-sector J&J Data Science Council. Najat received her B.A. in Chemistry from Colgate University and her Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania.
